Reading Journal

Wednesday 18th November
in my book the silver sword the next chapter was also a good chapter that I liked so Ruth and Bronia went to there home town and it was completly torn down, they went into a house and Ruth fixed it up a little with some friends from Ruth's class. When they finished Ruth started her school again, the kids were playing a game Bronia was proud of her self for not losing, she spotted a boy lieing on the ground but she didn't know who he was so she told Ruth, Ruth went out to drag him in with one of her friends anothe of her friends went to get him some soup they laid him down he woke and they gave him soup one of the girls in the school found a brown box with string to hold it together, Ruth gave him the box and he didn't open it but he told them his name his name is Jan.



Tuesday 17th November

I am reading the Silver Sword it is about Polish people in world war two and in  my favorite chapter  so far a girl called Ruth had two siblings one older brother called Edek and one younger sister called Bronia. Edek was the one doing all the work and Ruth wanted to do something so when her brother was at work she incoraged Bronia to draw because Bronia always loved drawing ever since she could hold a pencil in her hand and she did it with charchole on the walls because they had no pencils or paper. Ruth decided to start a school she some kids the same age as Bronia and maybe a little older and she read stories to them they did some reading and writing they played games and she also started to read then stories from a pocket bible that someone had given her.


Monday 12th October
in my book called the Silver sword is about the war and polish people there was a polish man who was in one of the Germen camps because he took down a picture of Hitler and was kidnapped during his sleep. He figured out away to escape but it risky he knocked out a guard and stole his uniform and left.



Friday 18th September
in the book Just looking thanks a boy named Joel doesn't like his dad's girlfriend Rosie or his mother's boyfriend Max, so when his dad leaves the house he writes a note saying I'm going to mum's but he wasn't he got on a bus. He got off at the North city plaza, he looked through a shop window and the lady behind the counter went into a door and disappeared that is when Joel decided to disappear.
Thursday 22nd July
I read my book called the 13 story tree house and they had some trouble with monkeys and they were making a mess every where and the had a giant banana and the lead them to the catapult with the banana and flung them to a island with a giant gorilla and the gorilla ate the giant banana and he wanted more and came to there house to have enother one and terry had a visit from barkey the dog and the gorilla skwashed him


Sunday 15 February

my book is about a girl who is starting her first year of Middle School and she has a brother who is a huge trouble maker so all the teachers at her new school think that she is also a trouble maker so they are all so mean to her and there are some really mean girls and everybody worships them and they are incredibly popular so they are mean to her too so lets find out if it works out at her new school.

Sunday 1st March
I read a book called the magic pot it is about a man and his wife and thy didn't have much money and had no food so the man went to sell there cow then there was a little old man who wanted to trade his rusty old pot for the great big cow the man was going to say absolutely not but then he's heard a small whisper take me take me but the man was still going to say no then he heard it again and he said yes the wife was unhappy and she did not speak to the man but she heard a voice that said clean me and polish me when the lady had cleaned the pot the pot ran away the pot went to a woman who baked for a very rich spoiled man she was making pudding and she had no pot the pot came and she put it in there then the pot ran away and gave the pudding to the lady and they pudding for christmas then the pot said to clean it and polish it and the lady did then the pot went to the rich and spoiled man he was counting his man and needed a place to put it the pot came and he put it in the pot then it ran away and gave it to the man and wife then the pot sat by the fire for years and years then it ran away and they never saw it again


Thursday 4th May

my book is Sherlock Holms it is about an investigator and a woman came to ask him to investigate on how her sister died so he invetigated in the house and figured that her step father killed her because if she got married witch she was about to do she would get the money and he did it buy using a deadly snake and he lead it in the vent and it bit the womans sister then they found him dead in a chair with the snake on top of his head can you guess what happened.


Thursday 4th May

I'm reading a book called the 13 story tree house and its about two people called Terry and Andy and they live in the tree house and they are book writers Terry draws the pictures and Andy writes the story and their publisher wants the new book witch they haven't even started and is also they have to finish it on the next day.
